Topics 5: Royal Farm

Since 1981, Snow Brand Milk Products Co., Ltd., SNOW BRAND FOOD CO., LTD., and Snow Brand Seed Co., Ltd., of the Snow Brand Group have tackled the integrated business of cattle production and sales. In 2001, Royal Farm Beef Limited Company was founded with the aim of further developing the cattle business and has succeeded in that business.

Royal Farm Beef Limited Company was jointly established by producers, a feed company and a distribution company to produce safe, secure and delicious beef.

Its major operating territories include southern Hokkaido and the Towada area of Aomori Prefecture. Snow Brand Seed handles the feed-related R&D, production and provision activities.

One of our consolidated subsidiaries is Royal Farm Beef Limited Company.
It cooperates with 28 livestock farmers in raising 8,000 beef cattle in the pursuit of "safe and secure" and delicious beef. Some of the beef produced from this trusted group is distributed and sold under the brand "Royal Farm Beef."

Most of the domestic beef sold at the NARA COOP stores is now "Royal Farm Beef" that is produced in Hokkaido.
